Tomentos is a dive site located within the protected marine park of Cozumel and usually done as a second tank dive on a two-tank dive trip.

About Tormentos

A real look into an aquarium. The reef starts at around 35 feet with a maximum depth of approximately 60 feet. The reef consists of two sections, a Southern section where we start our dive and drift North. There are many stand-alone coral formations in the first sections. Investigate the overhangs and cleaning stations. Once you reach a sand bar, the second section is just ahead to the North.

There is a healthy amount of marine life and coral such as Angelfish, Grouper, Baracuda, a large amount of lobster. Slowly navigate around these formations for a wonderful dive.
